Mission Trips

- Luke 10:1

The Lord appointed seventy-two others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come.
We believe that helping others is essential to Grow in Grace and Wisdom.

PVI mission trips are not simply an experience or an adventure, they transform our hearts. A mission leads us to question how God is working in us and helps us to discover how God is calling us to serve and to love as Christ.

Sophomores and Seniors may apply for mission trips to Camden, New Jersey during the school year. In Camden, students have prepared and served food on the street to people experiencing homelessness, mentored elementary school students in the classroom and on the playground, sorted and distributed clothing to those in need, listened to local residents share their struggles with addiction in Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in Philadelphia and Camden.

Juniors may apply to serve in rural Appalachia during the summer entering into their senior year. Last year in Appalachia, students spent the week painting classrooms in a local school, serving hot meals, praying with people experiencing homelessness, and restoring a free clothing ministry center.
