Mrs. Susan Quintas
Mrs. Susan Quintas is a social studies teacher.
Mrs. Quintas grew up in Newport News, VA. She studied political science at West Virginia University and worked for the National Safety Council. When her husband was the Defense Attache to the UK, she was a diplomat to the UK.
She shares, “I like to go on walks.” Sarah, the patron saint of mothers, is her favorite saint.
Mrs. Quintas’ favorite lesson to teach is the iron triangle in the U.S. bureaucracy because students realize how many products around them are influenced by interest groups and money.
“Well done is better than well said” and “Sit in the front!” are her favorite quotes. When asked what she likes about PVI, she says, “I love the joyful halls, and the social studies department rocks. I am at peace knowing my children are receiving a wonderful education and growing in their faith.”
