St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a full-time assistant for our PVI Options Program for the 2025-2025 school year.
The candidate should be committed to the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in Catholic schools, possess the ability to adapt to the needs of students quickly and effectively, and have a desire to work within a collaborative team. The candidate will perform a variety of tasks which include providing instructional support, assisting with behavior management, and supplementing the efforts of the classroom teacher by providing one on one and/or small group instruction when appropriate.

School Counselors deliver a full range of student services to include academic, and college and career counseling. The candidate must be able to positively engage students, parents, and faculty members in delivering services.
The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and a faith-filled witness to Christ. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love.
Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in counselor education and must hold, or be eligible for, Virginia licensure. Experience in college admissions is a plus.
