Mr. Arragon Perrone
Mr. Arragon Perrone teaches Theology.
Mr. Perrone grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and earned a BA in English and Political Science at the University of Connecticut. Before coming to PVI, he worked with Campus Ministry at George Mason University, Fellowship of Catholic University Students (2012-15); Director of the Youth and Young Adult Apostolates at the Basilica of Saint Mary, Alexandria, VA (2015-21); and also taught English at Bishop O'Connell High School.
In his free time, Mr. Perrone enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and reading about theology, history, and philosophy. His favorite religious person is Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
He loves teaching Theology, especially about the kerygma and how to share the Gospel message with joy because it's at the very heart of Christianity. When teaching English, Beowulf or the Iliad are his favorites because they're classic texts that capture timeless realities about the human condition. Mr. Perrone says the joyful, Christ-centered community and the students' enthusiasm are his favorite things about PVI!
