Junior wins Christian Unity Essay Contest

Congratulations to junior Reagan McGovern, the winner of the Fr. John Crossin, OSFS, Christian Unity Essay Contest. Provincial, Fr. Jack Kolodziej, OSFS, and Br. Daniel P. Wisniewski, O.S.F.S., Ph.D., presented Reagan with a certificate and check, and her essay will be featured in the DeSales Weekly Oblate newsletter.
This year’s theme was “You shall love the Lord your God…and your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27).” The essay contest honors the legacy of priest-scholar Fr. John Crossin, OSFS, Ph.D. (1947-2023), who dedicated his career working to bring about Christian Unity and was recognized as a national leader in ecumenism.

During the presentation of the certificate Reagan was joined by principal Dr. Tom Opfer '96 and her calculus class.
