PVI Instrumentalists Hit the Mark!

Congratulations to junior Luke Heinze, freshman Hunter Ambrose, freshman Matthew Ferrier, freshman Madeline Tellis and sophomore Bella Serngadichaivit for earning coveted positions in the 2024 All-District Band. Each year, top players representing each public and private school in the county prepare and perform rigorous individual audition material. Those that earn the highest marks are invited to attend a unique three day intensive music festival. Tuscarora High School was the site last weekend for the music-making where PVI players joined forces with other fellow musicians. Under the tutelage of highly-respected, energetic guest conductors, musicians were introduced to some of the best band literature available. In the course of the three-day event, the music was prepared and ultimately performed in an afternoon concert to a packed auditorium. Way to go Luke, Hunter, Matthew, Madeline, and Bella!
