Boys Basketball Wins WCAC Championship

On Monday, February 24, 2025, Paul VI was able to secure their 3rd WCAC Championship in the last four years, beating Gonzaga 58-54.
After securing a share or outright WCAC Regular Season Championship for the 4th year in a row, 8th in program history and earning a first round bye, the Panthers started their playoff run at home against Bishop Ireton on Saturday, February 22. In front of a nearly sold-out crowd, PVI was able to advance to the semifinals with a 69-56 win.

Next up on Sunday, January 23, the team took on St. John's at Bender Arena at American University in Washington, DC. Behind a strong defensive stance, PVI moved on to the Championship game, defeating the Cadets 57-40.

In a rematch of last year's WCAC Championship game, the Panthers took on the Eagles of Gonzaga on Monday night. With a final score of 58-54, Paul VI was able to secure their 3rd WCAC Championship in the last four years.
